2024 Open Houses
You're invited to attend our series of open houses in May 2024 about the Louisiana International Terminal.
The Louisiana International Terminal is the largest economic development project in Louisiana. We've been working closely with elected officials and industry partners to develop a project that will create opportunities for St. Bernard Parish and Louisiana for generations to come. Now, we want to share our progress and talk about the next steps of this project.
Join us to:
- Explore current and future job opportunities and training programs.
- Learn about small business and procurement processes.
- Provide feedback on community amenities and infrastructure.
- Gain insight into the upcoming steps as we move toward construction.
The Louisiana International Terminal has brought together various resources and agencies. St. Bernard residents have an opportunity to take advantage of the project to support and leverage community needs.

All meeting materials will be available online from May 9-August 30, 2024.
Drop by an open house at any time during the event. There will be no formal presentations. Instead, project team members will be available at stations according to topic to answer questions, hear feedback, and facilitate discussion.
The Louisiana International Terminal project is currently in the design and permitting phase of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' environmental review process, which is required to receive permits for construction. Port NOLA anticipates construction will begin in 2025.
